Freeman Roofing Tauranga is looking for a part-time Accounts Assistant to join and support the team. The Role The part-time Accounts Assistant provides high-quality administrative and financial support to ensure the smooth and accurate operation of the branch. This role focuses on key financial, inventory and documentation processes that enables effective customer service, production flow, and compliance. Working 20–25 hours per week, the Accounts Assistant will collaborate closely with the Branch Manager and wider branch team to maintain the integrity of branch financial data, stock management, and reporting within the business management system. The ideal candidate will: * Have a great work ethic and not be afraid of hard work * Work within supportive team to effect proactive change * Demonstrate outstanding communication skills and deliver work to the highest calibre * Support the implementation of a best practice culture; and * Have great written and oral communication and reporting skills The main responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant role include: * Accurate and timely processing of customer invoicing * Process and receipt inwards goods to maintain up-to-date stock records * Manage the documentation and submission process for NZ Steel warranties * Liaise regularly with the Branch Manager, Financial and Administration Manager and the BA Hub to ensure consistent financial and administrative processes * Support the finance team in Group Support with data or reporting requirements relating to branch operations * General accounts administration duties In addition to the above you will be an active member of the admin team and support the customer service team from time-to-time. You will work between Monday and Friday. The hours can be tailored to suit the right candidate and will total 20-25 hours per week. Over the Christmas/New Year we normally shut down for two weeks, giving you an opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved break. Who are we?
