The Container Devanner plays a crucial role in the logistics operations by efficiently unloading containers and ensuring that all goods are handled and processed correctly. This position requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Container Unloading: Safely and efficiently unload containers using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Inspection: Inspect incoming goods for quality, accuracy, and damage, and report any issues to the
supervisor.
• Sorting & Staging: Sort and stage items according to predetermined locations or instructions, ensuring
accurate and organized inventory management.
• Documentation: Accurately complete all required documentation, including inventory logs and shipping
records.
• Equipment Use: Operate various equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as required for unloading and
handling goods.
• Safety: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment and minimize risk
of injury.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of
goods.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not required.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items regularly and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory handling and documentation.
• Equipment Handling: Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and
supervisors.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications: Forklift operator certification or similar is advantageous.
• Experience: Previous experience in container devanning or a similar role is a plus.
