We’re on the lookout for a hands-on people-focused Distribution Supervisor to join our team and help keep our LPG cylinder delivery operations running smoothly and safely. You’ll be supporting the Depot Manager, while also working alongside another Distribution Supervisor, to lead the Fill Shed team, manage day-to-day operations and ensure our customers – residential and commercial – get the best service possible. There’s plenty of variety in this role: from scheduling third-party vehicles and overseeing driver compliance to rolling up your sleeves for filling duties. You’ll also cross-train with the other supervisor, so you can cover each other as needed and keep the depot humming. We’re after someone who: • Knows how to lead and support a team • Has a good eye for safety, efficiency and compliance • Can handle scheduling and operational planning • Is happy to get stuck in on the ground when needed • Likes working in a fast-paced, team-first environment • Wants to make a real impact and grow in the industry You’ll be helping shape a strong team culture, ensuring we meet delivery targets and supporting continuous improvement – all while keeping things running safely and to standard. What makes you great: • You have more than two years’ experience in the Gas Industry, or a related industry with similar dynamics, with logistics/distribution experience at a supervisory level • Minimum of full Class 1 license and able to drive a manual transmission • A Dangerous Good licence (preferred) • Be physically fit, as there is lots of heavy lifting involved • A strong commitment to Health and Safety, and a solid understanding of compliance processes to meet statutory requirements • Further, you have a proven leadership and relationship-building abilities, coupled with strong decision-making, problem solving and written and verbal communication skills Why you will love working with us: We identify ourselves with our products – either working for the technical or medical gases business.
