Kia ora! We currently have one room available for rent (ASAP) in a lovely mid-century home with a beautiful established garden in Ilam. Its got high ceilings and lovely furniture. It's a long-term rental with a warm, inviting atmosphere. We're full time workers, and have had wonderful flatmates (both UC Arts and Engineering students and professionals - of all ages) over many years. We are an honest, kind, and respectful household, with a good sense of humour. There's a well-kept mature garden with a BBQ for outdoor entertaining. A heat pump and wood burner keep the house warm and cosy. The galley-style kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher, rice cooker, juicer, kitchen mixer, fridge, and separate upright freezer. A separate Laundry area with washing machine and dryer are also available for your use. The House is on Waimairi Rd & the Orbiter Bus stop is just a 5 minute walk away, making public transport convenient to everywhere in the city. The house is 3 minutes to UC, 5 minutes drive to the airport & 15-20 minutes to the City.
