If you are looking for a room in an apartment across from Victoria Park and close to downtown Queen St this may be what you are looking for. The room is available from the 11th of December 2025; rent will be $350 per week. I am looking for a mature person, preferably female who is looking for a place to call home. I am happy with short or long term, the bedroom available can take a queen size bed and has a built-in wardrobe which provides adequate storage. All you would need to bring is bedroom furniture, if you don't have any that could be arranged. This apartment complex provides a secure carpark, plus a small gym, pool, spa and sauna. You will be sharing with me. I’m a mature woman in my late 50s who has flatted both in New Zealand and overseas with people of many ages. I’m a teacher at Freemans Bay and enjoy spending time with friends out and about or relaxing at home with a flat mate and sharing a glass of vino now and then. Home, to me, is an inclusive and welcoming place. I’d love to share it with someone who is independent, professional, genuine, and kind. I have a wee dog called Pearl who is a small breed and does not shed. She comes to school with me every day and I rarely leave her at home.
