* $45 - $47 depending on experience * Temp to perm scenario * Morning, Afternoon and Night Shifts available Trade Assist is currently seeking applications for Mechanical Fitters based in the Sunny Hawkes Bay and be part of a team that enjoys challenges and is results orientated. Your Responsibilities Monitor and respond to plant repairs, maintenance and breakdowns in order to minimise downtime, improve reliability and maximise overall efficiency. Troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, overhaul and problem solving as well as line changeovers. Identify opportunities for improvement, consider innovative solutions and advise options completing scheduled preventative maintenance programs. Continuously monitor and improve Overall Efficiency (OE). Your Skills * Electrical knowledge would be preferable. * Relevant trade certification or 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. * Experience in pneumatics, PLC's, hydraulics. * Experience in a food factory. * Strong organisational, problem solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work under pressure. * Physically fit. * Self-motivated and improvement focused team player.
