The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner - Sales to join our high-performing New Zealand team. Reporting to the Finance Manager - NZ, this role is key to driving financial performance, insights, and strategic decision-making across the Sales and operational functions. You'll act as a trusted advisor, supporting leaders with actionable data, financial modelling, and commercial analysis that shape the future of our business. This is a hands-on role where you'll make a real impact — from enhancing reporting systems and processes to leading improvement initiatives that drive profitable growth and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities * Partner with Sales and Operations teams to deliver robust financial insights, reporting, and analysis. * Lead the Demand Review part of the Integrated Business Planning process. * Develop and optimise dashboards and reporting tools to support data-driven commercial decision-making. * Oversee trade spend management, rebates, and commercial accrual processes for customers. * Lead financial modelling and scenario analysis for commercial initiatives — from sales and marketing, SKU rationalisation, promotional effectiveness and NPD forecasting. * Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close processes in collaboration with key stakeholders. * Champion the use of systems like M3 (ERP), TM1, ThoughtSpot and Blueshift, ensuring stakeholders understand and maximise their value. * Actively participate in S&OP processes and regular business review meetings, identifying opportunities for improvement. About You You're a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering with business leaders to create value. You combine strong analytical and technical skills with the confidence to influence and communicate insights that drive action. To be successful, you'll bring: * Proven experience in finance business partnering, FP&A, or commercial analysis, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing. * Strong understanding of management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting processes. * Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with exposure to business systems such as M3 (ERP), Blueshift (Trade Spend Management), or similar. * Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to translate complex data into clear business insights. * A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to challenge constructively and build trust at all levels. * A relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Analytics (CA/CPA desirable).
