Job Description An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and friendly Café Assistant to join our team at Summerset in the Sun, to assist with the day to day operation of our on-site café. At Summerset, we're passionate about providing quality service to our clients and we are growing quickly. Our Café Assistant is in many ways the face of our business and as such you need to be able to relate to a wide range of people, especially the elderly and their families. This is a casual role with shifts provided on an as and when basis. Shifts will be between Monday and Friday as well as occasional weekends. Your responsibilities will include: * Greeting customers, processing orders, making delicious coffee and serving cabinet food * Cleaning of all kitchen surfaces including washing dishes and removing rubbish from the kitchen * Working with the chef to unload and put away stock * Supporting the chef with food preparation Qualifications What we are looking for: * Enjoy providing top class customer service to ensure a great café experience to our residents and their guests * Have the ability to provide high quality and timely support for the Chef * Have prior experience with making great coffee, food preparation and presentation is preferable Additional information About Summerset: As leaders in a growing industry, we offer not just a job, but a journey of growth and opportunity.
