Essential Skills & Qualities: * Pick up the phone and start a conversation – Relationship building is key! * Solutions-focused mindset – Think outside the square to help clients. * Honest, open communication – No pushy sales tactics here. * Desire to learn & grow – No prior experience? No problem! * Team player – Go beyond the job description when needed. * Attention to detail – Keep accurate notes and follow-ups. * Confidence in digital tools & CRM systems – We’ll train you if needed. About the Role We require a Vehicle Salesperson to join our busy Kia, Suzuki and Mahindra sales team in Mount Maunganui which covers the Tauranga and wider region. You will be joining an extremely successful dealership with Kia and Suzuki being two of the top selling vehicle brands in NZ. Based at our modern, custom built dealership and with a constant stream of new models, you will be in an excellent sales environment. You will be selling new Kia, new Suzuki and new Mahindra vehicles plus our range of Used vehicles to an existing customer base, as well as to new clients so you will have plenty of opportunities. Qualities/Skills Required * High Motivation to Succeed - it’s sales! * Ability to communicate and build rapport with a wide range of people face to face, via the phone and by email * A desire to provide excellent customer service * Excellent standard of personal presentation * Computer literacy * Full Driver’s Licence While previous automotive sales experience would be an advantage, we would also love to hear from you if you have sales or customer service skills from other industries. We have a proven track record of turning people keen to learn into great salespeople. This is a full time job averaging five days a week with some weekend work required based on a roster.
