What We’re Looking For Essential Skills & Experience: • Proven experience in agile software testing (Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks). • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business-friendly language. • Expertise in test automation frameworks such as Cypress and MS Test (or equivalents). • Familiarity with Azure Functions or similar serverless computing environments. • Proficient in React, TypeScript, C# (.NET 9), and GraphQL. • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Azure DevOps. • Competence with Git-based version control and modern development workflows (PRs, code reviews). Requirements About the role You'll be working within our professional services team delivering exciting data projects for customers. Specifically, here's a bit more detail on what it takes to be a match for this role: Demonstrated experience in Data Engineering, particularly in modern cloud data platforms like Azure Purview, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI or their equivalents. Ideally, experience in a consulting environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines at once. Experience in building cloud systems that collect and wrangle raw data to surface information to downstream reporting or AI workloads. Experience in building ETL data integration using tools such as Spark, Python or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to work at pace with multiple priorities. Ideally, you've worked in a consulting environment previously to show this. Good interpersonal skills and the confidence to work directly with clients to understand and meet their needs. Strong learning agility with the ability to reason and problem-solve across a range of data domains. Ability to contribute towards transforming business ideas into technical architecture and data platform solutions, and to explain those to non-technical audiences. An eagerness to expand your understanding into other areas of emerging tech including Machine Learning, Software, Infrastructure, and IoT.
