




We’re excited to be partnering with our client, a well-established Kiwifruit post harvest business in the search for a Business Development & Technical Manager. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the General Manager, playing a key role in aligning operational performance with long term commercial strategy. This is a diverse and impactful position that blends technical expertise, data analysis, and business development. You will: * Analyse orchard, packhouse, and export data to improve performance and grower returns * Develop useful reporting tools to guide decision-making * Lead business development efforts by engaging with current and prospective growers, cultivating strong partnerships that expand crop supply * Oversee system improvements and support lab operations * Act as 2IC to the GM, contributing to both strategic planning and operational delivery What You’ll Bring * Experience in post harvest, horticulture, or agri-business, with a strong commercial focus and track record of driving business growth * Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret information * Capability to develop practical tools that support business goals * Strong relationship building skills, with experience in grower engagement, stakeholder management and business expansion * A practical, people-focussed, and commercially minded approach * Experience with tools like Power BI would be an advantage This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative, forward-thinking business and play pivotal role in shaping its continued growth.
