Uniform, PPE, and boots provided Forklift Operator K&S Freighters is looking for a Forklift Operator/Store person to join the rest of our warehouse team in Middleton. If you have a great work ethic, can show up and work hard every day then we would like to hear from you! Based out of our Warehouse in Middleton you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and movement of freight / products within our site while meeting both company and customer requirements. You must have good judgement of weights, heights and distances and know the limitations of your forklift. Roles: Dayshift Storeman: • Monday to Friday – Generally hours of work are between 4am till 4pm, however hours outside of these can be required. Weekend work may also be required from time to time. To be successful: • Excellent Health & Safety awareness and practices • Able to pass initial and ongoing Drug tests • Previous experience operating 14T Forklift preferred but not essential • Hold a current OSH License and F endorsement • Work in a safe and efficient manner • Able to be a team player • Have customer service skills and be able to communicate with customers, staff & management • Be able to complete all admin tasks - filling in your timesheets & pre-start checks We will offer: •Flexible and friendly team •On the job training and ongoing coaching •Uniform and PPE including boots provided •Free pre-employment medical •Min 40 hours per week Applicants for this role should have NZ Residency or a valid working visa.
