Parking Enforcement Officer – Part-time Opportunity in Masterton!

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Parking Enforcement Officer to join our team and help maintain a safe and organized parking environment in the Masterton CBD and surrounding areas. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for community safety, Compliance and Enforcement we want to talk to you!
In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring that vehicles are parked legally and safely. You’ll be actively engaging with the public, issuing Infringement notices, and helping to educate drivers about parking rules. On-job training will be provided, so previous experience isn’t essential—just a desire to learn and serve your community!

-Thursday - Saturday shifts with potential to cover more hours if required.

Key Responsibilities:
-Monitor parking areas in the Masterton CBD and surrounding areas to ensure compliance with parking regulations.
-Issue Infringement notices for parking violations and educate the public on proper parking rules.
-Take photographs of violations and use a handheld device to issue tickets.
-Direct drivers and pedestrians, advising on appropriate parking areas.
-Patrol local council car parks and ensure parking meters are functioning.
-Report any issues with parking meters, signs, or road markings that require maintenance.
To apply, you must:
-Be 18 years or older.
-Have a full, valid driver's license.
-Be available to work the required roster.
-Be a NZ or Australian citizen or hold a valid NZ Work Visa.
-Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a proactive approach to work.
