Perform regular equipment inspections and routine maintenance Our civil and drainage client in Hastings is currently seeking an experienced Class 4 Licensed Driver and WTR Operator to join their team. Key Responsibilities: * Safely operate Class 4-wheel truck rollers to compact soil, asphalt, gravel, or other materials on construction sites. * Perform regular pre-operation and post-operation inspections of the roller equipment * Conduct routine maintenance * Work closely with other site workers, including excavator operators, truck drivers, and supervisors, to ensure smooth operation and timely completion of tasks. * Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations. Required Qualifications: * Valid Class 4 New Zealand Driver’s License. * WTR (Wheels, Tracks & Rollers) endorsement is required. * Eligible to work in New Zealand (no sponsorship provided). * Strong communication skills. * Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks. * Must pass a pre-employment drug test and conviction check. * Site Safe is great to have but not required. Job Details: * Immediate start * Monday to Friday schedule, occasional Saturdays * Located in Hastings * Pay rates - $28 - $35 an hour depending on experience and licenses. * Potential for a temporary-to-permanent position.
