Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for your next challenge in the mechanical services sector? My client, a leading mechanical services company, is seeking a talented professional to join their team!
I'm currently partnering with this well-established company who specializes in commercial and industrial HVAC and plumbing. With an impressive portfolio of projects and continued growth plans, they're offering an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.
About the Role
This permanent position offers you the chance to take full project ownership and lead successful delivery of a major projects in Dunedin. You'll be working with a supportive team in a company known for investing in their staff and delivering quality projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading project planning, scheduling, and execution from initiation to completion
- Managing project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Monitoring project progress and implementing corrective actions when needed
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations
- Facilitating regular project meetings and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
What You'll Need
- Proven experience (5+ years) in management, ideally within mechanical services and HVAC
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and project delivery processes
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
- Confident with project management software and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
