The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery used in road construction and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: - Operate various types of machinery such as bulldozers, graders, and excavators safely and efficiently. - Perform routine maintenance and inspection of equipment to ensure optimal performance. - Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. - Collaborate with the construction team to complete projects on schedule. - Interpret and follow project plans and instructions from supervisors. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Machine Operator in road construction or a similar industry. - Proficient in operating heavy machinery and equipment. - Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures. - Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Minimum Class 2 RTW. Preferred Skills: - Certification or training in operating specific machinery. - Experience with GPS or other machine control systems. - Basic mechanical skills for equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs.
