This is an opportunity to work on nationally significant energy infrastructure that will help power New Zealand for generations to come. You’ll be part of a skilled team delivering critical piping systems and mechanical installations on one of the country’s most important renewable energy developments. About the ProjectLocated in the heart of New Zealand’s geothermal region, this large-scale renewable energy development represents a significant investment in the country’s energy future. Working on complex industrial systems, you’ll play a vital role in the installation and assembly of piping infrastructure that supports geothermal power generation and sustainable energy production. The Role Working within a professional project team, your responsibilities may include: - Installation and assembly of industrial piping systems - Reading and interpreting isometric and engineering drawings - Pipe alignment, fit-up, and support installation - Flange management and bolted connections - Assisting with pressure testing and commissioning activities - Working alongside welders, riggers, and mechanical trades - Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship We’re Looking For - Proven experience as an Industrial Pipe Fitter - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications - Experience working on industrial, infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, geothermal, or heavy engineering projects - Strong understanding of safe work practices - High attention to detail and quality workmanship - Ability to work effectively within a team environment Whats Required - Current Site Safe Passport - Working at Heights Certification - EWP Ticket - Confined Space Certification - Experience on geothermal, power generation, or process plant projects (Advantageous but not essential) What’s On OfferCompetitive Rates - $35 - $45 per hour - Weekly pay - Consistent project work - Opportunity for ongoing assignments following project completion Additional Benefits - Work on a nationally significant renewable energy project - Join a well-managed site with a strong safety culture - Be part of New Zealand’s growing renewable energy sector - Work alongside highly skilled industry professionals - Ongoing support from the Tradestaff team throughout your assignment Why Taupo?
