About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and practical Production Operator to join our team manufacturing plastic ducting products.
This is a hands-on role working with machinery in a structured production environment. It suits someone who enjoys physical work, routine, and being part of a small team with clear daily targets.

Work Schedule
This role operates on a fortnightly rotating shift pattern:
DAY SHIFT
Week 1:
• Monday–Wednesday: 7:00am start (12-hour shifts)
Week 2:
• Monday: 11:00am start (8 hours)
• Tuesday–Thursday: 7:00am start (12-hour shifts)
NIGHT SHIFT
Week 1:
• Monday–Wednesday: 7:00pm start (12-hour shifts)
Week 2:
• Monday–Wednesday: 7:00pm start (12-hour shifts)
• Thursday: 7:00pm start (8 hours)
✔ Consistent, predictable schedule
✔ Overtime occasionally available

Key Responsibilities
• Operate and set up production machinery following set instructions
• Monitor production output and make basic adjustments
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards
• Carry out basic machine cleaning and preventative maintenance
• Record production and quality data
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets

What the Role Involves
• Standing for most of the shift
• Repetitive, hands-on work
• Regular lifting (up to 20kg)
• Working in a manufacturing environment (heat and noise)
This is a practical role, not office-based work.

About You
• Reliable and punctual with strong attendance
• Comfortable working with machinery and tools
• Able to follow instructions and stick to processes
• Physically fit and capable of manual work
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Experience
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is helpful but not essential
• Forklift licence beneficial (or willingness to obtain one)
• Basic reading, writing, and maths skills required
