Exhibit a passion for culinary excellence and continuous improvement An exciting opportunity have been created for a Kitchen Assistant to help launch the soon to be opened The Clements Hotel located in the heart of Cambridge, at 68 Duke St, Cambridge, 3434. The Clements is Cambridge’s most iconic Hotel. A stunning renovation of a heritage building formerly known as the Masonic Hotel and built in 1911, this project has truly been a labour of love. The sensitively restored and renovated building is being transformed into a 5-star boutique hotel featuring 29 guest rooms and complemented by extensive F&B operations. As a Kitchen Assistant you will play a crucial role in assisting the kitchen team, ensuring a clean environment and the highest quality of food is served to our guests. You will become an integral part of a dynamic kitchen team that values collaboration and supports each other. Skills and Responsibilities: • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. • Assist in food preparation and ensure ingredients are ready for cooking. • Assist in the cooking of basic menu items. • Help our Chefs when and where needed. • Wash dishes and equipment. • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure. • Understand current Health & Safety obligations, ensuring the Kitchen is fully compliant to the SOP's, Policies, procedures, and service standards. • Exhibit a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to continuous improvement.
