**About the Role** We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Charles Fleming Retirement village Waikanae, Kapiti Coast as Housekeeper. This is a Part Time Role position working Monday to Friday 0830 to 1200 In this role you will: - Carry out housekeeping duties to ensure an excellent level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the village - Observe all health and safety precautions for the protection of residents, staff and visitors - Work closely with, and support your colleagues **About You** To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have: - Strong empathy - Excellent attention to detail - A reliable, friendly and professional manner ***Please note that, although we often welcome applications from overseas candidates, due to immigration requirements, we require applicants to have New Zealand work rights for this position*** **About Ryman** At Ryman, we believe the measure of a full life is one that gets richer with age. As a Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant, you'll be a key part of creating a clean, uplifting, and homelike environment for residents, their whānau, and fellow team members. Your day-to-day activities will include: - Ensuring high-quality cleaning across resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, laundry, and kitchen facilities - Laundering, folding and returning residents’ clothing and linens with care and attention - Labelling, mending and maintaining residents' personal laundry items - Supporting infection control measures and health and safety procedures - Building friendly, respectful relationships with residents and understanding their unique needs This is a casual role offering hours on an as needed basis. Position Title: Cleaning Team Member Employment Type: Temp Location: Masterton • Weekly pay • Afternoon shifts from 3pm • Fun engaged team ________________________________________ About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Team Member to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a range of cleaning duties across residential, commercial, or public sites (depending on assignment).
