JOB OUTLINE At LeaderBrand, we don’t just grow vegetables — we grow innovation. We’re on the lookout for an experienced Machinery Operator who’s confident with cutting-edge ag-tech and ready to get stuck in. You’ll be operating some of the most advanced equipment in the industry — including our precision harvester and Carbon Robotics laser weeder — while working with a skilled, productive crew. This is a hands-on role for someone who leads by doing. WHAT YOU'LL BRING We’re after someone who’s sharp, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need: * A minimum of 3 years’ experience operating farm machinery * A proactive mindset and strong communication skills * The ability to work independently and support others * A focus on safety and continuous improvement * A full NZ driver licence (Class 1) and F endorsement It’s a Bonus If You Have: * Confidence using GPS and digital platforms * Mechanical know-how for basic maintenance * Leadership experience * A background in farming or large-equipment operation THE DETAILS * Full-time, permanent role based in Gisborne * Pre-employment drug testing required * Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand and provide references Ready to take the wheel of something bigger?
