The Role
This is a hands-on role where you'll support the sanitising process for reusable crates, ensuring they are cleaned, inspected, and prepared for reuse across national supply chains. If you enjoy physical work, staying active on the job, and working as part of a supportive team, this could be a great opportunity for you. Beginning as a short-term opportunity, however, ongoing work may become available.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with operating the crate sanitising machine and conveyor system
* Un-stack crates from pallets and load them safely onto the line - lifting 25kg+ repetitively
* Inspect crates as they exit the washer, checking for defects or damage
* Remove stickers, labels, and branding where required
* Re-stack clean crates onto pallets in an organised and safe manner
* Maintain a clean work area, including machine and floor cleaning as needed
* Follow site health & safety and production procedures at all times
Days & Hours
Afternoon Shift: 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm
* Monday to Friday
* ASAP start available for approx 6 weeks
* Full-time ongoing opportunity for the right person
