We’re looking for a Communications and Content Coordinator to join Spectrum Group in a newly created role supporting the day-to-day delivery of communications across Spectrum Foundation, Spectrum Care, and Homes of Choice.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll be writing and publishing content, updating websites and intranet pages, supporting campaigns, and working with teams to gather stories and content. A big part of the role is helping keep our communications clear, accessible, consistent, and reflective of the people and communities we work alongside.
Because the role works across three organisations and brands, you’ll gain experience across a wide range of communications work and learn how to adapt your writing and content for different audiences and purposes. It’s a great opportunity for someone early in their communications career to build broad, practical experience and see the impact their work has.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll support the day-to-day delivery of communications and content, including:
· Writing and publishing content for social media, websites, intranet and eDMs
· Updating website and intranet content
· Supporting internal communications and staff engagement campaigns
· Helping deliver external campaigns and communications projects
· Working with teams to gather stories and content
· Formatting posters, certificates and visual assets
· Supporting content performance tracking and reporting
We’re looking for someone who
· Has some experience in communications, content, marketing or digital (around 1–3 years)
· Is a strong writer and can adapt their tone for different audiences
· Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
· Has good attention to detail
· Is comfortable working with different teams and stakeholders
· Has an interest in accessible and inclusive communication
The Group is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the communities we serve. We actively encourage and support applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities, neurodivergent individuals.
