This role is hands-on and suited to someone confident working with routine testing, sample handling, and laboratory equipment. About the Role * You will assist with day-to-day laboratory activities, ensuring testing, processing, and reporting runs smoothly. Key responsibilities include: * Receiving, logging, and preparing samples for submission to external laboratories * Performing daily equipment calibrations and maintaining laboratory instruments * Conducting routine testing such as pH, solubility, moisture, and use of biochemical analysers * Completing basic sample preparation and quality documentation * Managing external laboratory reports and preparing testing kits for production * Supporting daily and weekly cleaning and housekeeping schedules What We're Looking For * This role requires recent, practical laboratory experience. * Background in microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, environmental/water testing, or animal science * Strong bench competency, including confident use of: * Pipettes * Analytical balances * Measuring and testing devices * Good attention to detail with strong procedural awareness * Able to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently Applicants with current, hands-on lab experience will be prioritised.
