We have a permanent full-time opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to join our Home Support team. Our Home Support service provides individual assistance to children, young people and adults with autism and/or intellectual disability, within their homes and out in the community. As a Service Manager, you will collaborate with people that we support and their families to create individualised goal plans. You will be responsible for recruiting, managing and coaching a team of Home Support staff to ensure the provision of quality support. The ideal candidate will also have an interest in business systems and development, as this team will be working closely with other services (Supported Independent Living and Choices in Community Living), with a view to sharing staff and approaches. The team are also working to maximise the value/use of our new CRM system, which includes our rostering, so being technically adept with software is a huge benefit, though not necessarily a requirement. This role is based at our Head Office in Greenlane, but is responsible for the wider North Auckland region. As it is a mobile role, you will be provided with a car, laptop and phone. You will be required to be in the office at least one day a week. We're ideally looking for people with: - A good working knowledge of the New Zealand disability sector - A commitment to person centred approach, in terms of the development of individualised services and support - Diploma or Bachelors level qualification in an industry related field - Significant previous experience working with people with disabilities, or in education or training - Innovative problem-solving - Experience managing people would give you a further advantage - Full driver's licence If this sounds like you, apply today!
