Nebulite Wellington is a successful aluminium joinery company based in the heart of Paraparaumu. Our company is a manufacturer of premium aluminium windows and doors. As we continue to expand our operations, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Factory Manager to join our team and ensure our projects run smoothly and our clients’ expectations are exceeded. The Factory Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, from planning and scheduling to quality control, managing the fabrication team, stock management and deliveries. Key responsibilities for this position are: • Manage and lead a team of fabrication and delivery staff (9+), ensuring efficient workflow and a high standard of workmanship. • Develop and implement factory schedules, optimising resource utilisation and meeting delivery timelines. • Monitor and maintain quality control standards to ensure projects meet specifications and exceed customer expectations. • Communicate effectively with staff and customers alike. • Stock management and improvements. • Update project status in our FSM database system (training will be provided). • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, training, and development within the fabrication team. To be successful in this role you will: • Have proven experience in a factory management role, preferably in the aluminium joinery or a related field. • Have strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff. • Have excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities and are well organised with excellent time management and strong organisational and planning skills, with attention to detail. • Have knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
