Joinery Scene is a respected joinery manufacturer in Christchurch.
We have a modern automated workshop and are always looking for ways to improve our systems and procedures.
We are seeking a programmer to work alongside our existing team so if you have experience in our field then you should be talking with us.
In this role, you will be working alongside a talented team programming cabinetry and joinery for the workshop. The role also includes ordering materials providing shop drawings and working with project managers and assemblers if needed. It is a varied position with every project being different with its own challenges.
Tasks include but are not limited to.
• Extensive knowledge of Microvellum software and how to use this.
• High accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Great written and communication skills are required.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure when following a timeline.
• Joinery knowledge and understanding of construction methods is a must.
• Be confident in your ability and well-presented and take pride in your own appearance as you are working in an office environment.
