Maintenance Engineer - Wiri**
Our client is a well-known and iconic food brand that values teamwork, safety, and innovation. We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with an EWRB or EST license** to join their small, family-style team. This is a permanent role on the Tuesday-Saturday, 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM shift**.

The Role
As part of the maintenance team, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. From preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to project work and continuous improvement, this role offers plenty of variety.
Key Responsibilities
*
Carry out mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance** on plant equipment
*
Complete repairs and servicing within set timeframes
*
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues
*
Contribute to project work, ensuring quality and timely delivery
*
Support and enhance site health, safety, and environmental systems**
*
Participate in team and project meetings, offering practical solutions and updates
What We're Looking For
*
NZQA Level 4 Certification** in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
*
Electrical Service Technician (EST)** or EWRB Registered Electrician** with mechanical skills
*
Experience as a Maintenance Fitter** with strong hands-on repair and troubleshooting ability
*
Comfortable working in a cold food manufacturing environment** with some physical tasks (lifting, standing, repetitive work)
*
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a small team
*
Solid understanding of health, safety, and compliance** requirements
