Pay is high due to a collective employment agreement where in addition to a competitive base salary, you will get all sorts of additional paid benefits weekly significantly adding to your pay! You will work on a "Skilled Worker Visa" where our client will sponsor you for up to 3 years. Key to your success will be at least 5 years of construction based rigging and a recognized steel structure rigger/erector qualification. Typical day to day duties include: * Secure loads to rigging equipment for safe relocation across work areas * Install pulleys and blocks to designated structures such as beams, ceilings, and pole booms * Verify proper attachment of pulleys and blocks using appropriately sized bolts and clamps * Operate controls to maneuver heavy equipment with precision * Assemble and dismantle rigging systems at the beginning and end of each shift * Fabricate and repair structural components using designated rigging machinery * Manipulate rigging lines and hoists to guide and control suspended loads * Ensure all equipment is connected at approved anchor points and configured according to design specifications (temporary or permanent) * Select cables, pulleys, and winches appropriate to the weight and type of load being lifted or moved * Adhere strictly to safe rigging practices throughout all operations * Complete detailed work reports at the end of each shift * Comply with all applicable site rules and safety regulations If you are looking for an opportunity to live and work in London whilst getting ahead financially, please send us your CV and we will get in contact.
