Shape and grow a rapidly expanding business Project Manager – Construction & Maintenance RNF Construction is a growing construction, painting, plastering, and maintenance company delivering projects across Wellington, Auckland, and the Lower North Island. We work across residential, commercial, education, social housing, and public-sector projects, providing high-quality solutions and building long-term client relationships. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of multiple projects from planning through to completion. About the Role This is a varied and hands-on role where you will be responsible for managing projects, leading teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, site supervisors, and our internal team to drive successful project outcomes while helping support the continued growth of the business. Key Responsibilities * Managing multiple construction, maintenance, painting, and plastering projects simultaneously * Developing and maintaining project programmes and schedules * Managing project budgets, costs, variations, and profitability * Coordinating labour, subcontractors, suppliers, and materials * Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders * Conducting site visits and overseeing project delivery * Managing project documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements * Ensuring Health & Safety standards are maintained across all projects * Identifying and securing additional opportunities within existing client accounts * Supporting business development and helping grow the project pipeline What We're Looking For * Previous experience managing construction projects in New Zealand * Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project profitability * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects concurrently * Experience with project scheduling and construction systems * Strong organisational and problem-solving skills * Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements within the NZ construction industry * Full NZ driver's licence * Full NZ working rights What We Offer * Competitive salary package based on experience * Vehicle, phone, and laptop * Opportunity to help shape and grow a rapidly expanding business * Diverse range of projects across commercial, residential, education, and government sectors * Supportive and practical management team * Long-term career progression opportunities * A company culture that values initiative, accountability, and results If you're looking for an opportunity where you can genuinely make an impact, build strong client relationships, and take ownership of projects from start to finish, we'd love to hear from you.
