This new leadership role has been created to strengthen our ability to provide safe, affordable homes and to grow Wesley's voice in the community housing sector. You will be responsible for shaping and delivering Wesley's housing strategy, ensuring compliance with legislation and contracts, and building strong sector partnerships. This is a leadership role and qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related field, several years of management and housing-related experience and the ability to influence at both operational and strategic levels. Our Housing Operations Manager will: * demonstrate leadership in housing, property management, or community housing provision * lead the delivery of Wesley's housing strategy * build strong sector relationships with MHUD, MSD and sector partners * oversee tenancy systems, compliance, and reporting to meet legal obligations * manage and support housing staff, fostering professionalism, learning, and wellbeing * actively contribute to housing forums, strengthening Wesley's national and regional voice. Our Tenancy Services Advisor will work directly with tenants to: * manage tenancy agreements, rent collection, arrears, and bond processes * carry out inspections, ensure Healthy Homes Standards are met, and address tenancy issues * support tenants with information, referrals, and advocacy to help sustain tenancies * balance enforcement responsibilities with tenant wellbeing, ensuring fair and respectful outcomes. Because every tenant's situation is different, the mahi will look different for each household. The role requires someone who can adapt, problem-solve, and support tenants with dignity and respect, while also upholding Wesley's responsibilities as a landlord.
