Key leadership role within a growing multi-unit business We’re looking for an experienced and people-focused Multi-Unit Manager to support and lead a group of Subway restaurants in the Wellington region. This role is responsible for the performance, development, and operational excellence of multiple restaurants. You’ll work closely with Restaurant Managers to build strong teams, deliver outstanding guest experiences, and achieve consistent financial and operational results. As a Multi-Unit Manager, you will: * Lead, coach, and support Restaurant Managers across multiple sites * Drive strong guest experience, food safety, and brand standards * Oversee operational performance, including labour, food cost, and sales results * Support recruitment, training, and succession planning for management roles * Conduct regular store visits, reviews, and manager 1:1s * Implement company initiatives and support local marketing activity * Use reporting and KPIs to identify opportunities and drive improvement This is a hands-on leadership role that balances people development, operational discipline, and commercial thinking. The role requires regular travel between restaurants, with occasional travel outside the Wellington region as the business continues to grow. You’ll likely bring: * Proven experience managing multiple restaurants or sites (QSR, hospitality, or retail preferred) * Strong leadership and coaching capability, with a track record of developing managers * Solid understanding of food safety, compliance, and operational controls * Confidence analysing performance and holding managers accountable to targets * Clear communication skills and a calm, professional leadership style * The ability to plan your time effectively across multiple locations Subway experience is helpful but not essential – strong multi-site leadership experience is.
