* Position located in Christchurch, servicing the South Island (Picton, West Coast, Invercargill) * Great team environment, full training, and strong career pathway * $29.68 per hour, plus overtime, time-and-a-half on Saturdays, and double-time on Sundays. Current roster: 10 days on, 4 days off (Tuesday–Thursday Position Description He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role: As a Trainee Track Machine Operator, you’ll support the safe and efficient operation of Track Machines across the rail network. You’ll learn how to maintain track quality, assist with servicing and repairs, and follow clear work plans. This hands-on role is outdoors, includes regular travel, and involves staying away from home. You’ll work in a supportive crew that puts safety first and helps keep our network moving.
