We work with farms, transport operators, businesses, and industry across the lower North Island. We are looking for a practical, reliable, and mechanically minded person to join our team in a varied, hands-on role. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and getting out on the road rather than sitting behind a desk. About the role: This position involves a mix of field work, customer service, and technical tasks, including: Fuel Clean NZ duties: * Liaising with clients and arranging fuel cleaning jobs * Attending fuel cleaning jobs across the country * Managing the fuel cleaning process on-site * Ensuring jobs are completed safely and efficiently * Answering customer enquiries and providing updates Fuel Supply Ltd duties: * Fuel delivery * Pump maintenance and minor repairs * Fuel tank installations and servicing * General support across fuel supply operations Travel is a regular part of the role and may occasionally include short-notice travel or overnight stays. What We’re Looking For: You don’t need formal qualifications, but you do need to be practical and capable. The ideal candidate will have: * A mechanically minded approach and good problem-solving skills * A positive, friendly attitude with great customer service skills * The ability to work independently and manage your own workload * Flexibility with hours depending on job requirements * A full driver’s licence (truck licence would be an advantage but not essential) * Confidence working with tools, machinery, and equipment * A strong focus on safety and quality work Experience in mechanical work, farming, fuel systems, pumps, plumbing, or engineering would be beneficial but is not essential.
