The OpportunityOur client is expanding their plumbing team to support a growing pipeline of commercial projects across the Manawatu and is now seeking a qualified and experienced Plumber/Drainlayer to step into a Foreman-level role. This position combines hands-on plumbing and drainlaying work with team leadership, project oversight, and the chance to help shape the next generation of apprentices. Key Responsibilities * Lead and support plumbing and drainlaying projects across commercial new builds, replacements, and varied construction sites. * Manage labour, materials, and scheduling while ensuring projects run smoothly, safely, and to quality standards. * Mentor, train, and support apprentices and junior staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture. * Work directly with clients, contractors, suppliers, and the wider site team to maintain strong, professional relationships. * Step in on the tools as needed, with occasional crossover into other areas such as roofing or general construction support. * Maintain weekly reporting, documentation, and clear communication with project stakeholders.
