Qualified Ticketed Fabricator Welder – Heavy Steel & On-Site Work
Starting Rate: $35/hour + Travel Allowance | Site Transport Provided
We are seeking a qualified, ticketed Fabricator Welder who is mechanically minded, reliable, and physically fit to join our on-site team working throughout Northland and the Rodney District.
This role is hands-on, physically demanding, and based in high-hazard environments. As such, we're looking for someone who is extremely health and safety conscious, takes pride in their work, and maintains a high standard of workmanship.
Key Requirements:
Trade qualified and ticketed Fabricator Welder
Mechanically minded with knowledge of gearboxes, bearings, and similar components
Able to work independently on-site without supervision and carry out work professionally
Capable of supervising a small crew when required
Experience in heavy steel fabrication including:
Digger and loader bucket repairs
Fabricating walkways, stairs, chutes, bins and more
Ability to measure, cut, and fabricate with precision to meet strict quality standards
Teachable, with the ability to learn and retain procedures and repeat them consistently
Strict adherence to health and safety procedures is essential
Willingness and ability to labour as needed – this is a physically demanding role
Fit and strong with a good attitude and strong work ethic

$35.00 per hour starting rate

Hours of Work:
Weekdays: 1:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Weekends: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours and days may vary depending on site requirements, so flexibility is essential

You must be drug-free and able to pass a drug test – we conduct random drug testing
