We are seeking Customer Service superstars to support a busy government agency within a high-volume inbound contact centre environment in Palmerston North. What You’ll Be Doing - Answering inbound phone calls from members of the public - Providing accurate information and resolving customer queries - Logging information into internal systems - Managing customer interactions with professionalism and empathy - Navigating multiple systems in a fast-paced environment - Escalating complex matters to the appropriate teams What We’re Looking For - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Previous customer service experience (call centre, hospitality, retail, reception or similar) - Calm, empathetic, and solutions-focused approach - Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly - Excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills - Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster - Reliable, positive, and team-focused attitude The Details: - Start: 1st June 2026. Minimum 12 month temporary assignment - Hours: Minimum 25 hours per week guaranteed - Roster: Monday – Sunday, shifts between 6am and 12am with most shifts falling in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends - Training: Approximately 4 weeks of full-time paid training (attendance required) - Availability: Must be available for at least 5 days across a 7-day roster, including weekends - Pay Rate: $28.95 per hour Why You’ll Love It: ?
