Supportive team culture with career progression opportunities The Role: We are seeking experienced carpenters to join a strong pipeline of residential and commercial projects, offering consistent work and excellent long-term opportunities. We also have a range of short-term projects available for individuals looking to get started immediately, giving flexibility across both long and short-term work options. This is a hands-on role that combines skilled carpentry with leadership potential, where you will interpret plans, carry out formwork and structural work, operate tools and machinery, and support site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: * Read and interpret plans and specifications to complete carpentry and construction tasks accurately * Construct formwork, boxing, and channels, and assist with steel fixing and reinforcing work * Carry out concrete placement, drilling, anchoring, and structural strengthening tasks * Operate a range of site tools and machinery safely and efficiently * Support or lead site crews and help maintain smooth workflow on site Days & Hours: * Monday to Friday, typically 7:00am – 5:00pm * Occasional Saturday work as required What’s On Offer: * Highly competitive rates, reflective of experience * Full PPE and equipment provided * Strong potential for permanent employment * Supportive team culture with hands-on leadership * Career progression opportunities within an established commercial construction company Skills & Experience: * Proven carpentry or building experience (commercial experience highly regarded) * Confident using a range of tools, machinery, and site equipment * Leadership capability or willingness to step into a senior role * Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to health & safety * LBP licence advantageous but not essential for experienced candidates Requirements: * Reliable transport (Full NZ Driver’s Licence preferred) * Ability to pass pre-employment drug test, Ministry of Justice check, and ACC history check * Must currently reside in New Zealand with valid work rights How to Apply: Apply now with an up-to-date CV and work history.
