Contribute to facility improvements and expansions We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s team based in Otahuhu. You’ll be responsible for performing and completing a range of maintenance tasks efficiently and to a high standard. This includes routine maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of equipment and facilities to ensure smooth and safe operations. Location: Otahuhu Type: Temp to Permanent Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm Pay Rate: $43–$48/hr (based on experience) Key Responsibilities * Carry out weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance on machinery and building systems * Diagnose and repair faulty equipment using hand and power tools * Perform plumbing, piping, and minor fabrication or carpentry work * Maintain and repair roofs, windows, doors, flooring, and other building structures * Assist with planning and implementing facility improvements and expansions * Order and manage parts, tools, and materials as needed * Work closely with other maintenance team members and supervisors * Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company standards What We’re Looking For * Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role * Strong technical knowledge and hands-on maintenance skills * Experience performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance * Commitment to Health & Safety standards in the workplace * Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills What’s in it for You * Competitive pay rate depending on experience * Temp to Permanent opportunity with a reputable company * Supportive team and great working environment Ready to join a great team and take the next step in your maintenance career?
