About the Role: Reliability is essential in this role - as a crucial guardian of public safety, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security of infrastructure, preventing trespassing, vandalism, and other offences that may occur on-site. This role places a strong emphasis on accurate written reports, monitoring entry and exit points, and delivering a high standard of customer service. 📍 Location: This role is based in Palmerston North Key Responsibilities include: * Provide a visible security presence to deter and manage security risks * Monitor and report suspicious activity to ensure a safe environment * Engage professionally with clients, customers, and the public * Respond effectively to incidents and follow security protocols * Work collaboratively as part of a team to uphold safety and security standards * The ability to keep strict confidentiality is extremely important for this role Mandatory Requirements: To progress through the recruitment process, you must consent to and be able to satisfy pre-employment checks, including: * Driver’s License, Credit Checks, Ministry of Justice Criminal History and Immigration checks. * Currently reside in the Palmerston North region * Hold a current Certificate of Approval (COA) * Articulate and a comprehensive understanding of the written and spoken English language is extremely important.
