Engage in hands-on tasks and heavy machinery operation The Role  Are you an experienced operator ready to make a real impact on local civil projects? We are looking for a Specialist Operator to work alongside our Foreman, using your skills to help deliver quality infrastructure to the Manawatu region. If you're confident with heavy machinery and ready to take on hands-on tasks, this could be the role for you. Key Responsibilities: * Operate WTR machinery, primarily a 12-tonne roller, with confidence and precision. * Support the Foreman with civil site set-ups, pack-downs, and general operations. * Lend a hand with physical labour on-site as required to ensure smooth project execution. What We Offer: * Local civil work - no long trips away from home. * Weekly pay & PPE provided  * Opportunities for permanent employment, though initially this is a seasonal role. Hours: * Typically Monday to Saturday, 6 am to 6 pm, with a half day on Saturdays. * Flexibility is key, as work hours may adjust depending on project demands and weather conditions. What You'll Need: * WTR endorsement and Class 2+ full licenses are a must. * Experience operating heavy machinery (diggers, rollers) is highly beneficial. * Physically fit and ready to get involved in hands-on work. * Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice check and drug test.
