Kintail Honey was started in 1947, it is an established family business. Kintail Honey produces, buys, packs, sells and markets honey, breeds queens and services a variety of crop pollination. We export live bees and queens. We are looking for a beekeeper to add to our team in Manawatu Company.

• Team player
• Can do attitude and self-motivated
• Physically fit and healthy – manual heavy lifting is part of the job
• A passion, interest and sound knowledge in beekeeping with a minimum of three years’ experience.
• A full clean car license as a minimum – HT training may be given if required.
• AFB recognition course preferable (training is provided)
• Has an understanding of Health and Safety in the work place and is subject to random drug and alcohol test.
• The position is part time (17 hours per week minimum, Monday & Friday) with possible additional hours due to seasonal demand – pollination, honey production etc.
• Wage as per experience
• The Kintail group of companies does NOT put off staff in the winter but do close down the month of July
