About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Export Packhouse Manager to lead our packhouse operations and team.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring orders are processed efficiently, maintaining high quality standards, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
👥 Lead, supervise, and support the packhouse team
📦 Manage the packing and dispatch orders
⚙️ Operate and adjust onion grading/packing lines
🚜 Oversee a team of forklift operators, helping when required (loading/unloading product)
🛠️ Oversee plant and forklift maintenance
🧾 Manage record keeping and compliance requirements
⏰ Prepared to work flexible hours during peak periods
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Proven leadership or team supervision experience (advantageous)
✔️ Experience with production lines or packhouse operations
✔️ Forklift experience (F endorsement preferred)
✔️ Understanding of farming practises and growing cycles
✔️ Competent with Microsoft Word & Excel
✔️ Reliable, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
✔️ Good problem-solving skills and a practical mindset
✔️ Understanding of costs and operational efficiency
