Located at the Southern tip of the Coromandel Forest Park, in Hikutaia, we are an intentional community where all members assemble and unite around Keegan, a 29-year old man with high complex needs. All members of this community contribute their own unique gifts in a safe, stress-free sanctuary for all. Around Keegan but not all about him. See www.tepunanga.nz Keegan is an accomplished sing-songwriter who is actively involved in music, outings and socialising within his local community. He has a range of high complex needs; he has his own separate living area in the main house and requires support of a team 24/7. The Role We are looking for someone to join an existing team, working 24-30 hours a week, over a 7 day week period (24/7). Parts of the day are double staffed (with some flexibility required to allow for outings). This position also includes night shifts, which are paid at our undisturbed rate. Be prepared for something new and unique as you will be given the opportunity to use your creative skills to contribute to an intentional community. Programme Assistant

Mō te tūranga | About the role The Kauri Centre is looking for a Programme Assistant to join our committed and passionate team on a permanent part time basis working 7 hours per week on a Friday. The Programme Assistant role is an activity and support based role providing day programmes, social outings, and pastoral care to support our clients to live and participate in their community. About Anglican Care Waiapu The Kauri Centre is a community centre for fellowship and friendship. We provide day programmes, social outings, and pastoral care to support our members to live in and participate in their community. The Kauri Centre sits under the umbrella of Anglican Care Waiapu (ACW), is the social services arm of the Anglican Diocese of Waiapu and have services and programmes in Bay of Plenty, Tairāwhiti, and Hawke’s Bay.
