Are you a hands-on professional with a passion for machinery and workshop environments? We are looking for a Workshop Setup and Machine Assembly Technician to play a key role in establishing a new, state-of-the-art workshop and assembling precision machinery and equipment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team of experienced engineers and designers.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pmPayrate: negotiable depending on experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Set up the physical layout of a new workshop, including equipment placement and utility coordination.
* Install workbenches, storage systems, safety fixtures, and other infrastructure.
* Unpack, inspect, and assemble machines and mechanical systems following technical drawings and manufacturer specifications.
* Conduct initial machine testing, alignment, and calibration to ensure optimal performance.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment during the setup and assembly process.
* Document assembly procedures for internal records and training use.
* Troubleshoot and carry out routine maintenance on machines post-assembly.
Skills and Attributes:
* Demonstrated experience in mechanical assembly or a similar technical role.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hand and power tools, and workshop safety procedures.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly documentation.
* Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a practical mindset.
* Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal check.
