As an STMS, you will ensure the accurate following of temporary traffic management plans and oversee set up and pack down of road closures and diversions. * You will be confident leading toolbox and closure briefings with crew, whilst providing clear job details and expectations to TMO's. * Willing and able to train and upskill our and junior STMS' * Ensure the safety of the Downer crew, subbies, and the general public This is a permanent, Full Time position, based in Kaikohe - Far North. We are seeking an experienced Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) with certifications in STMS Cat A and B to join our team. A crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic flow in and around roading and construction sites. Experience in traffic control and the ability to work effectively in a team and follow directions from supervisors. - good communication skills and the ability to remain calm and focused. Setting up and removing traffic control equipment as required by daily work schedules. - Directing traffic and communicating with Construction / Roading crew members on a regular basis.
