**The Opportunity** Join our expanding horticulture operation in the beautiful Bay of Islands as an Orchard Assistant. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work outdoors in a stunning setting, gaining valuable hands-on experience in our 70-canopy hectare avocado and berry orchard located in Kerikeri. As an Orchard Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and productivity of our orchard. Your daily tasks will include a variety of hands-on activities such as mowing and spraying, fungicide and insecticide applications, pruning, assisting with irrigation and fertigation inputs, and harvesting. The salary range for this role is: $55,667 – $75,314, this will be pro-rated to reflect the guaranteed 60 hours a fortnight, any additional hours over and above this will be paid at the standard rate.
