Graduate to Senior roles. We design, build, operate and support large water authorities . Working on water treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines. Our work load is mainly Mechanical and electrically focused projects, ranging from investigation to design, build and operate/support and maintenance. The candidate would be someone who is genuinely passionate about engineering, has curiosity to ask the technical questions and drive to get work done. We are looking for energetic passionate people to join our growing and fun team. We want diverse people that can bridge the gap between office and site, ideally you would be able to design projects, complete drawings and write design reports, then drive a digger, swing spanners and not afraid of getting your hands dirty. We work in Municipal infrastructure for major government agencies, councils and utility providers. You would have, or be willing to learn/grow the following skills, 1. Hydraulic design of pipework and pumping systems 2. Basic Surveying 3. Able to use 3D software programs like AutoCAD Plant 3D ( we can train you on specifics of these programs, an understanding and know how of other CAD packages will be helpful) 4. Be able and willing to then progress hands on with construction and commissioning 5. Align with safe working culture and ability to quantify, understand and manage risk ( in all forms) . 6. What you’ll need: We are looking for someone with more than 6 months relevant work experience as a trainee or water labourer or a fully qualified plumber. *You will be licensed and skilled at operating most plant and equipment. *You will need to be physically fit, health and safety focused, and work well in a team as well as independently. *There is a heavy on-call commitment for this role. *Ideally living in Banks Peninsula We are looking for someone who might be starting or part-way through their water industry qualifications, or if not you will be willing to start on this pathway with us.
