Supportive team culture We are on the hunt for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Hornby. This role is primarily working on preventative maintenance on existing plant - very rarely are there large breakdowns or new installations. You will be reporting to an engineering manager however you will be responsible for completing your own list of preventative maintenance tasks. Days of work: Monday to Friday Hours of work: 10am - 8pm Key tasks: * Complete preventative maintenance on a variety of plant equipment * Confident working independently on diagnostics and repairs * Ability to interpret manuals, diagrams and maintenance schedules * Identify and replace worn or damaged components before failure Skills & attributes required: * Trade qualified (Ideally have completed Level 4 Mechanical Engineering certificate) * Experience with preventative maintenance in the food industry * Confident working alone on diagnostics * Well versed with all mechanical maintenance tasks: seals, bearings, conveyors, etc. Culture & benefits: * $35+ per hour * Immediate start * Fixed hours: Mon-Fri, 10am-8pm * No rotating shifts * Potential for long term work * Supportive team culture Due to the time restraints for this role, all applicants must have NZ Residency or NZ Citizenship.
