We are looking for experienced healthcare assistants to join our growing team, providing premium care assistance to our care centre residents. This is a full-time role working Sunday through Thursday, PM shifts, with a minimum of 30 hours a week. If this sound like you, then you have come to the right place! About you - Nga Korero Mou * Experienced Healthcare Assistant. * Can share in our core values - O Tatou Uara of vision, optimism, respect, equality, and honesty, working effectively with people from a range of cultures. * Excellent communication skills with a good level of both written and spoken English as well as English comprehension. * An ability to inspire and motivate. * You want to be a valued team member and can offer a high standard of service and support for our residents. * Dementia training is ideal but not essential About the role – Mo te turanga * Providing the best practice individualised healthcare to Rest home and Hospital level residents. * Familiarisation with care plans and provide care in accordance with individual resident notes. * Ensuring own knowledge and work represents education received in conjunction with policies and procedures. * Ensure changes in residents’ conditions are accurately identified, documented, and reported to senior staff. * Documenting progress of each resident’s progress in comprehensive and timely manner including utilising internal Qestral developed clinical software. * Participate in Infection Prevention and Control strategies including ensuring the use of personal protective equipment. * Participation in Health and Safety drills, training, and safety techniques.
